1. About the Txt4RSVP SMS program
Txt4RSVP is an event RSVP service operated by Metamorphosis Consulting, LLC. Event hosts create an event and receive a short RSVP code. Guests RSVP by texting that code to the Txt4RSVP phone number printed on their invitation. Our automated assistant replies to ask for the guest's name and the number of people attending, then confirms the RSVP.
The Txt4RSVP SMS program is transactional and guest-initiated. We send messages only in response to a text a guest sends us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not text phone numbers supplied by hosts or third parties.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by sending a text message containing an event's RSVP code (for example, SMITH26) to the Txt4RSVP number. Invitations and event materials that use Txt4RSVP display RSVP instructions and disclosures like this:
By texting an event code to Txt4RSVP, you consent to receive automated text messages from Txt4RSVP related to your RSVP for that event. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. If you'd rather not RSVP by text, contact the event host directly.
Our first reply to every new conversation identifies Txt4RSVP and includes how to get help and how to opt out.
3. Messages you will receive
After you text an event code, you may receive:
- Questions needed to complete your RSVP (your name and party size)
- A confirmation of your RSVP
- A confirmation when you change your RSVP (by replying CHANGE)
- Responses to HELP, STOP and START keywords
- A short notice if the code you sent wasn't recognized or the event is closed for RSVPs
Every message begins with "Txt4RSVP:" so you always know who is texting you.

4. Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on your conversation. A typical RSVP involves 2 to 4 messages from Txt4RSVP. Changing your RSVP or texting HELP will result in additional replies.
Txt4RSVP does not charge guests for text messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any Txt4RSVP message. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed:
After you opt out, we will not send you any further text messages unless you opt in again by replying START or by texting an event code. Opting out of texts does not cancel an RSVP you already made; contact the host if you need to change your attendance.
6. How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any Txt4RSVP message for assistance. You will receive a reply like:

7. Supported carriers and delivery
The Txt4RSVP program is available to customers of major U.S. wireless carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission from your network operator, and Txt4RSVP is not responsible for delays or failures caused by carriers, devices or coverage.
8. Privacy
We use your phone number and the information you text us only to process your RSVP and provide the service to the event host. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. 9. Rules for event hosts
Hosts who use Txt4RSVP agree to share their event code only with people they've invited and to keep event names free of links, phone numbers and prohibited content. Hosts may not use Txt4RSVP to send marketing messages or to message people who have not texted the event code. See our Terms of Service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
